Theta and Koschei sat contently in the library reading a pile of Time lord History books. The only sound was the light turn of pages every so often. Suddenly the Peace was shattered by the arrival of their third friend. The doors swung open as a girl in a lab coat burst in, “I did it, I found to breathe underwater. Come on! I need you two try it out in lake outside the academy.”

Theta didn’t falter away from his history books. Koschei dramatically sighed, stretching his arms, “No, Ushas, we’re studying, we have an Exam next week.” 

“SO?” Ushas frowned, “I have one too, but I’m not-“

“What did you get in your last exam?” asked Theta, finally looking up. Ushas squinted at him, “Thirty….. five?” 

“Out of ?” Theta  asked dryly, Ushas bit her lip. “Thirty five?” 

“No,” chimed Koschei, “One hundred and six! You failed, remember? You have to revise! Like us!”

Ushas crossed her arms, “Grades doesn’t prove my intelligence. It’s not like I have to use the things they tell us. All I need is a TARDIS and a lab.”

Theta and Koschei exchanged expressions, “But to be able to get those things you must pass the academy.” Koschei pushed a text book towards her. Ushas sat down in defeat, “Okay, but in fifteen minutes you have to try out this formula for me.”

Anonymous asked: Uh Theta/Koschei, pizza shop owners AU :)

‘Thick crust’ was the name of Koschei’s father’s chain of many pizza shops. Therefore as a 18th Birthday present instead of a car he gave his son a shop. Koschei had to learn responsibility. The boy hated the place, while Theta thought it was amazing that his friend owned a shop. And believed he would get free pizzas. 

“You have to make them, Thete.” Koschei sighed, he adjusted his name tag, looked at it then pulled it off his shirt, “It takes alot of time making the base. Then there’s toppings. Then there’s cooking the whole thing.” he tossed his badge over his shoulder. “I’ll show you how to do it.”  

So Koschei lead Theta to the kitchen. He pulled out flower, yeast and  jug of warm water. “First measure the flour, put it in the bowl and add yeast.” Theta obeyed. “Okay, now kneed the batter liked this.” Koschei demonstrated pulling and pushing the mixture on the table. Theta nodded, taking over from Koschei. “No.” Koschei said immediately, suddenly behind Theta, he covered his hands over Theta. He began moving Theta’s hands gently, this went on for five minutes, before they ditched the batter and began pulling  eachother’s clothes instead. Thankfully no one visited the pizza shop that day.  Or at least they didn’t disturb the boys.

A dark haired young man laid back against an oak tree, his half open eyes were slightly unfocused. He held his sword tightly in his fists that was dripping with fresh blood. His clothes were scorched and burnt up to his shoulders, showing bright raw flesh. His companion frantically looked through their luggage looking for something to aid him with. After a minute he found a potion, “Thank god.” He whispered. Cupping the dark boy’s face he tipped the bottle to his lips and urged him to drink.

“You’re such an idiot.” muttered Theta, emptying the contents of the bottle in Koschei’s mouth. Koschei grinned, for a moment their was a flicker of madness in his eyes. But it was gone within a blink. Koschei’s burns began to heal and Theta finally relaxed. 

“What gave you the idea that you could tame a dragon?” Theta hissed, Koschei lowered his gaze, suddenly interested with his sword. “I did it for you.” He muttered, “I wanted to impress you.” Theta clenched his teeth, “Well I’m not.” There was a flash of pain across Koschei’s face. Theta moved closer, “You almost died.” he said gently. He caressed Koschei’s face, “I don’t know what I’d do without you…” He kissed his forehead and stood up. “Alright, then, might as well get firewood. There’s not a village for miles from here and you’re in no state to travel.” With a bright smile from his companion he disappeared into the scenery, leaving Koschei blushing furiously.
